Support That Feels Like Home—Because It Is

At Lucky in Alaska, we don’t operate like a facility—we open up our home and care for your dog like one of our own.

Whether you’re looking for overnight boarding with plenty of space to play, structured walks, off-leash adventures, or a quick check-in while you’re away, we meet your dog where they’re at—with consistent companionship, a calm environment, and rhythms that feel familiar.

Overnight Dog Boarding

Dogs who stay with us are welcomed into our daily routine and treated like family—sleeping on couches, dog beds, or crates if that’s their comfort zone. They’re never left alone and always surrounded by consistency, connection, and real companionship.

  • Dogs enjoy full access to our large, fully fenced yard (6 feet tall, with security lighting and cameras) for supervised outdoor time as often as they need it.

There are no timers, no rotations—just plenty of space to sniff, stretch, and settle in.

Inside, we offer structured downtime and a calm, comfortable environment—with couches, beds, and dog-friendly furniture.

We believe rest is just as important as play, and we support both using tools like filtered water, sound therapy, and scent-based enrichment.

Meals can be customized as needed. We often cut kibble with bone broth or add digestive support powders for anxious tummies.

And for dogs with strong recall and appropriate energy levels, off-campus trail hikes may be offered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Special needs and quirks? We’ve got you—and them.

We welcome puppies (16+ weeks), seniors, and dogs with medical or behavioral needs.

Each stay is personalized and full of heart—because dogs with extra needs deserve extra care.

We’re experienced with a wide range of support, including daily medications, subcutaneous injections, mobility challenges, incontinence (diapers must be provided), deafness, and blindness. We’ve even supported dogs undergoing chemotherapy, case-by-case and in coordination with your vet.

For first-timers or anxious pups, we recommend bringing a blanket or shirt that smells like you—it makes a difference.

Additional fees may apply depending on the level of care required, but we’ll walk you through everything with clarity and kindness.

  • We recommend stays between 2 and 14 nights to support your dog’s emotional well-being.

Longer or shorter can be accommodated, but we find most dogs thrive with that rhythm.

  • We keep our pricing simple, transparent, and aligned with the care we provide.

    • $60 per night for one dog

    • $120 per night for two dogs from the same household

    • $55 per night for each additional dog

    • $65+ per night for dogs with medical, behavioral, or age-related needs (rates vary depending on the scope of care)

We’ll always confirm your rate ahead of time—no surprises, no fine print.
