Frequent Questions

Pack Life. Not Kennel Life

  • Please bring:

    • Your dog’s food

    • Any required medications with clear labels and instructions

    • A leash with a secure-fitting harness or collar.

    • If your dog is kennel-trained, you can also bring a kennel toy.

For first-timers or anxious pups, we recommend including a blanket or T-shirt that smells like you.

We provide all bedding (yes, even beds they can sleep on with Ginger!), slow-feeder bowls if needed, and plenty of love.

Toys from home are not encouraged as they can lead to tension in group settings.

  • Your dog, your choice.

We recommend at least one round of distemper/parvo after 16 weeks of age.

After that, we encourage you to do your own research and risk assessment. We’re happy to talk through your options and share resources we trust.

  • Yes! If your dogs get along well at home, they’ll stay together here too.

We want them to feel secure and connected while you’re away.

  • Your dog’s safety is our top priority.

We’ll contact you immediately if anything happens, and we have a strong relationship with a local vet for urgent situations.

You’ll sign a vet release form that allows us to act on your behalf in the event of an emergency.

  • Pick-up and drop-off are available between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM.

We’ll schedule a specific time with you in that window to make transitions smooth and stress-free.

  • Yes—puppies must be at least 16 weeks old.

  •  We recommend booking at least 10 days in advance.

For popular times like holidays and school breaks, early booking is strongly encouraged.

Last-minute stays may be possible for returning clients, but new clients must complete a meet-and-greet first.

  • Boarding starts at $60 per night for one dog.

Two dogs from the same household are $120 per night total, and each additional dog is $55 per night.

Dogs with additional needs—whether behavioral or medical or age related—generally start at $65 per night, depending on the scope of care required.

  •  Every dog’s stay is personalized, but in general, expect a mix of enrichment, relaxation, and real-life pack rhythm.

Dogs enjoy supervised time in our large fenced yard, structured downtime indoors, and yes—furniture privileges. We believe rest is just as important as play, and support both through calming tools like filtered water, sound therapy, and scent-based enrichment (like salmon crumbles or freeze-dried beef in meals).

Meals are customized when needed—we cut kibble with bone broth and use digestive support powders for anxious tummies.

Some dogs may also qualify for off-campus excursions (like trail hikes), which are offered on a case-by-case basis for dogs with excellent recall and appropriate energy levels.

These walks help regulate energy and promote a more relaxed, content pup during their stay.

We get it.

We’re dog people too—and not just in the casual, “we love dogs” kind of way. We mean really love them.

  • Absolutely—we require meet-and-greets before all first-time stays.

It’s a chance for you to see the space, meet us, and make sure it’s a great fit for your dog.

  •  Not at all.

We’re a kennel-free environment unless your dog prefers a kennel for comfort, needs a break, or there’s an emergency.

Most dogs stay integrated into the pack and move freely through our home and fenced yard.

  • We’re experienced with a wide range of medical and behavioral needs, including daily meds, subcutaneous injections, incontinence (diapers must be provided), mobility issues, blindness, and deafness.

We’ve even cared for dogs undergoing chemo—case-by-case, in coordination with your vet. Additional fees may apply depending on the scope and level of care required.

  • Start by submitting an inquiry online.

We’ll follow up to schedule a meet-and-greet and guide you through the next steps.
